Who we are

Our website address is:

When users comment on our site, we collect data from the comments form, including the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string for spam detection. An anonymized hash of your email address may be sent to Gravatar to check for a profile picture association. Gravatar’s privacy policy is available here. Upon comment approval, your profile picture becomes publicly visible.

When you comment on our site, you can choose to save your name, email, and website in cookies for a year, sparing you from re-entering details. A temporary cookie on our login page checks browser cookie acceptance, deleted upon browser closure. Upon login, cookies retain login and screen preferences: two days for login and a year for screen options, with “Remember Me” extending login to two weeks. Logging out removes login cookies. Editing or publishing articles generates a cookie with the post ID, expiring in a day, containing no personal data.

Embedded content from other websites

“Content featured on this website may contain embedded elements such as videos, images, or articles sourced from other websites. Embedded content functions similarly to when a visitor directly accesses the originating website.

These external websites might gather information about your browsing activity, employ cookies, integrate additional third-party tracking mechanisms, and observe your engagement with the embedded content. This includes monitoring your interactions, particularly if you have an account and are logged in to the respective website.”
